Very authentic. Great goulash and Pilsner Urquell on tap supervised by the brewery. Good service and good value for the upper East side of Manhattan. Like visiting Prague.

Very authentic Czech restaurant. The food was almost as my grandma used to do it. Perfect for wintertime

Located inside the 120 year old structure that is the Bohemian National Hall, Bohemian Spirit spirits you away to Eastern Europe for the duration of your meal; with black and white photographs as well as floor to ceiling length glass windows, passerbys could very well mistake this for a modern museum. Both beers on tap were amazing, though I preferred the deliciously creamy Bernard Dark slightly over the crisp Pilsner Urquell. The potato and mushroom soup was just about average, but the goulash with potato pancakes made up for it- the beef was tender and the stew rich and appropriately salty. It also has to be said was our server was very patient and cheerful which really set the tone for a great night.
